- Ms. Jishwa Shah and Ms. Surbhi Saxena, student of Semester-5, Zoology, won the ‘Best Poster Award’ in the poster presentation event “Earth Overshoot Day” organized on 29th July, 2019 by Department of Zoology, BMT and HG, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
- National level workshop and competition "Shastra 2k19 (IIT Madras event)" was organized by makeintern.com at President Science College on 26th and 27th July 2019. Total 66 students from Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Biotechnology department participated in it.
- Ms. Bhavi Bhatt and Mr.Aman Verasia, students of Mathematics, have cleared Minaxi Lalit Science Award test conducted by Gujarat Science Academy.
- Saiyonee Rathod,s tudent of Mathematics won in different Karate championship.
- Hinal Zala,student of Mathematicsgot a certificate in world book of records for dancing with swords.
- Mr. Meet Desai, T.Y. student of Physics won prize in clay modeling in “Youth Festival-2019” organized by Gujarat University.
- Mr. Harshad Asodariya, T.Y. student of Physics, has qualified test of Minaxi Lalit Science Award in the year 2019.
- Rani Chauhan and Nidhi Jha (Sem 5 Biotechnology) have won second prize in a State level Biosciences poster competition (Biocalyx) organized in St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad on 6th July 2019.

- uspicious occasion of gurupurnima our Microbiology Department got the opportunity to conduct a precious lecture on microbial genetics by eminent Microbiologist professor Dr. Rakesh Patel from R.G. Shah Science College.
- Mr. Sachin Prajapati (Sem-5-Zoology) secured 2nd position in photography competition “Wildness through lenses competition” organized by Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar.
